Fitness as it should be

Being Fit is really no different than being childlike. We are by nature a physical being who move our bodies in every which way possible. I don't know one young child who isn't eager to jump from the seat and figure out how to fly themselves around the room they are in if only gravity could just release them from its grasp. These children find a way to get to places they have never been and they using their strength, balance, coordination and endurance to make it happen.

It is only by learning how to loose these senses in which we become unFit. If we would have just kept doing the things our parents told us not too, then humanism would be filled with people who can do things that are now seen as if only a select few were gifted with.

Get it Back!

Just Like Home

When you spend enough time somewhere it eventually starts to feel like your 2nd home. This month I took over coaching the T/TH noon KB Classes as well as the Friday CrossFit Class. I actually think that I now spend more time at the gym than I do at home since I am leading classes all day long. It funny because I still am wonder how to get even more people to come and learn this stuff and be a part of our community at CrossFit Central. I remember times in high school when Jeremy and I along with a few of my other friends would sit in the locker room after a workout for an hour or so even though we had been at the school for at least 10 hours that day. This must be a sign of loving what you do right. Don't most people look for reasons to leave work ? I'm wondering how to get more people in even though that might include spending another hour there each day. You know what!... I wouldn't have it another way!

CrossFit... We are not a cult, just a bunch of like minded people that can handle a challenge.

I Love this Game!

Thanks all you guys and gals who share your time with us each week! See you tommorow!

Gearing up for the Games is definately a motivator to go harder in a workout. Knowing that when you get there, one of two things can happen. Either you go out there an put on a worthy representation of wearing the CrossFit brand across you back here in Texas, or you go out there and embarass yourself for pretending like you are a top tier athlete. Not saying that judgement will come upon you at the games. Everybody there is there first and formost to enjoy an experience of like minded people coming together to work hard. The CrossFit Games are exciting for anybody who attends. California is the best place for them. I cannot wait for the summer to go out and be a part!
