My Grocery trip

 

I made a post a few weeks back about buying healthy foods and if it was expensive to do it.
I don't really know how to put any perspective onto food being expensive or not. The truth is I never blink or think twice when it comes to 2 things with money and that is what I eat and having a good time.

Please understand that I do not promote eating out 20 times a week, but if you do go out to eat there is a very easy way to be in control of what you eat.

So I have at many times said I will post my grocery receipt on my blog to hopefully give you guys an Idea of how I get my feel at home(even with sweet tooth).

This is about a week for me in what I gather at the store.

4 Almond Breeze Milks
2 Greek Gods Yogurt with Honey
1 Premade Burger Chipotle Chedder
2 Premade Burger (Chipotle Burger)
1 marinaded Chipoltle Jerk Chicken Breast
1 lb of jalapeno chedder Chicken Sausage Links
1 marinaded Garlic Pesto Chicken Breast
1 lb Galic Pork Sausage Links
1 lb Jalepeno Cheddar Pork Sausage Links
2 pints of Blueberries
2 lbs of Black Seedless Grapes
2 Lbs of Strawberries
1 lb of Mushrooms
1 Head of Red Kale
3 Sweet Potatoes
1 lb of Fresh Okra
3 Red Bell Peppers
2 Bags of Brocolli Florets
1 Bundle of Asparagus
3 Green Bell Peppers
3 Green Zucchini Squash
3 Large Avocados
1 1/2 lbs of Chicken Salad
Some Ground Coffee
3 Coconut Waters
3 Lacroix Sparkling Lime Waters

I Also do about 2 lbs of Almond Butter a week which I bought Last night on a seperate trip.

I Know this is not 100% Paleo and I am ok with that.

I just thought it could help you all make some wiser, more informed choices on your Grocery Trips.

Why not us?





I have been watching videos showcasing the efforts put into the training of multi-million dollar a year athletes and I must say that there is some very intense stuff going on with them.

Of course the Job of say a football player or UFC Fighters obviously will rely on their ability to perform at a high level when they are paid to do it.

But should intensity be limited to those people and is there more to being stressed far beyond your comfort levels in a workout?

To me the answer is undoubtedly yes!

Your Fitness Level is going to be Identical to your health levels. I've been doing this Crossfit style of training for a long time and by far the people I know that do it to the fullest along with myself are much better off then people who don't in the realms of never becoming sick. Each day we expend a major amount of energy and an push ourselves physical harder than we ever have. All I know is that we are always feeling incredibly healthy.

Clients who do this 5 X a week with good eating habits are on the same boat.

Clients who come 3 X a week with ok eating habits fair much better than clients who come 2 or three X a week with poor eating habits. I know who is going to tell me they got sick and couldn't come to class. It the people who show up only once or twice a week and disregard our suggestions toward quality eating and supplementation.

Get up... Go hard and gain health! Sickness is no longer an option and if you deal with it then come to our nutrition meeting and take notes, show up to your classes and do some of your own workouts(off days) so your life can change.

All about the Kids



This video is a great showcase of children accomplishing amazing thing. I believe that changing the world will only be able to be done through making positive impacts on the lives of youth.

Crossfit Central has been developing programs for youth over the last few month and their is some amazing things going on because of it.
If you have children between the ages of 10 and 14 get them enrolled now.

I personally intend to get back into working youth again as well. I believe there is nothing more rewarding then impacting the lives of young people.

Enough with the Grains and Soy



So I'm right there with you! I can remember about 5 years ago very distinctly saying, "I will never stop eating bread."

I mean why should I right? I ate 100% whole wheat. This stuff is very heart
healthy and high if fiber to help my digestive system out. Bread is great for
you!

Not so much!
