Paleo

Here are 2 of the Men responsible for bringing the Paleo Diet into the lives of myself and many other Crossfitters. If not for Robb Wolf I would probably still be eating Bread and Cheese everyday. I would have never been aware of how much I was intolerant to them both. Now when I eat bread I have major allergies for a few days and both of these items will congest my digestive track for half a week. I can't even describe the differences I've seen with my Asthma(live long issue) that I've experienced since changing over to this style of eating.

My nutrition, which I believed to be good before has changed for the best because of the work of both Dr. Loren Cordain and Robb Wolf. I am now in the best health and as fit as I could have ever imagined. The gentleman to my right in this picture(John Welbourn) is now working together with the 2 on a new company called Paleo Brands.

After attending their seminar, I am inspired even more by their work. They are providing an opportunity for all people to understand the benefits of the Paleo Diet and getting a hold of prepared quality food much easier than ever before.

Thanks Robb Wolf

When I went to the Crossfit Games this year I told Robb Wolf that I wanted to get him to help me dial in my diet. Turns out the guy has givin so much information to me that I already had that I didn't need him to help me personally. My body needed me to make a few changes and I did. Without Robb though, I may still be listening to all the other crap people are teaching.

What I've done differently. Its called the Paleo diet! Since I started 2 months ago I've cut out most dairy (cheese, milk, and yogurt)and increased my nutrient dence carbs(veggies and fruit). My fat consumption is higher too!

What is the result? My workouts are better, my recovery is faster, and I'm even leaner than I've ever been!

Everybody I talk to veiws nutrition the way that I used to. Grains are good for you and Fat is bad for you.

Guess what... This is wrong. No question about it. Healthy and strong bodies are chosen through our nutrition!

Thanks Robb Wolf yet again for another confirmation.

The Healthy Part

What Does it take to get to the Right side the the Fitness Continuum. I talk allot to my one on one clients about that. Fitness is on the opposite end of the spectrum of Sickness. Therefore it is absolutely impossible to be both Sick and Fit at the Same time. The problem for most people is that they are never really committed to staying on the Fitness side so usually they are hovering somewhere in between which is the area we know as wellness. From a fitness perspective, I like to describe that area as mediocrity. If you are going to take interest in your health, why not get to the right side of the spectrum. My man Jevon posted a few weeks back about what is Fitness in 100 words. I recommend you read it! Also the Crossfit Nutrition Guru Robb Wolf is well studied in all the truth behind what people need to do and have done for the last several centuries when it comes to avoiding sickness in whole. I simply want you to understand what sickness is and that is this (high cholesterol, high blood sugar, obesity, low bone density and muscle mass, all disease). Sickness as a whole is what we are setting out to destroy. Staying away from Doctors and the dramatic amount of nonsense that they preach is a primary objective. Crossfit, the Zone Diet, Paleo eating habits are undoubtedly a great way to to contribute to busting these issues out of our countries face. Starting with you, we are out to change the world. If you wonder at all what you can do to help yourself, this is it!
