I had the opportunity to join a great friend of mine this morning at a really awesome Church Service. It has been a really long time since I've attended a non Catholic service and I am really glad I did. They played this video of a Denton, TX pastor and it really got me thinking about my Spiritual life of late.
I very much believe in a life of balance in the areas of spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and financial focus.
Physical comes natually to me. I have really been more aware of my relationships, self-developement and financial discipline to make sure I am going in the right direction with.
Living my faith however has been on the back burner now for going on 3 years. This often is in my mind, but I have continued to hesitate on making it a primary focus of mine. I know now that this can no longer be acceptable for me. My life has literally had an almost emptiness due to my decision to think that I could still be alright without being more proactive with this areas developement. This has been a huge mistake on my part and I am no longer willing to let my life go without my faith being a major player in my day to day.
