The Mind of an Athlete

If you thought like I do you would take your take your health and physical training seriously all the time.

This is what athletes do.

Wake up and start the day with some prayer/meditation/breathing practices.

Give gratitude to a new day and the opportunity to live and take on all that is to come.

Eat a healthy meal or engage in a physical activity that sets you up for success!

Plan the rest of your day around your eating schedule.

Make sure you put in a quality meal or shake within 30 minutes of finishing your workout.

Challenge yourself to practice skill work (handstands, handstand walks, hollow rocks, planks) or mobilize your body (foam roll, lacrosse ball tissue work, yoga, stretching) 30 minutes each day.

Work on your strength and endurance 2 to 3 times a week (heavy squats, cleans, presses, running 2 or 3 miles, sprinting 200s and 400s 4 to 6 times as repeats)

This is definitely a #WIT (Whatever It Takes) mindset.

The Truth of your busy life obligations is not that you don't have time as much as it's you don't have the time management.

What could you give up that is currently taking you nowhere to do things that could potentially change your life?

Think about it!

Big Mike
